- Every UAS operator must authenticate with standard protocol-enabled hardware to enter the airspace
- Virtual Local Area Map (VLAM) enables regulation of ATC infrastructure with full awareness of constraints in the airspace including all operations, geo-fenced areas, obstructions and weather conditions
- Drones avoid each other and other potential obstructions with established safety boundaries
Emergency Support Using Autonomous Drone Network
- Emergency dispatch assesses emergency scene and gathers relevant data
- Data subset provided to RPAS Traffic Control Server (RTCS)
- RTCS calculates optimized route for closest drone maximizing distance away from geo-fenced zones
- RTCS will await operator approval before starting mission
- Drone will execute mission autonomously avoiding obstacles
- Operator can monitor in remote station and at any time terminate mission taking direct control of drone via cellular connection
